The night before oder Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll
Das Treffen im Scherzkeks-Laden am Freitag vor dem großen Aachen-Event hat ja auch schon Tradition und so stimmten wir uns auch dieses Jahr auf das Treffen (diesmal Museumsnähen in Stolberg, der Titel der Veranstaltung wechselt ja schon mal) ein.
Kaffee, Pralinen, selbstgebackene Brownies, Trauben, Sekt (womit wir bei den "Drugs" wären),.... aber die Stimmung war ohnehin bombastisch. Die ersten Bücher wurden studiert, genauso wie die letzten Stiche gemacht.
Our come together at the Scherzkeks-Shop in Aachen the night before the yearly convention (this year under the titel "Museumsnähen Stolberg", names change, but the same fun every year...) has a tradition as old as the Aachen-Convention. So also this year plenty of people gathered with coffee, chocolates, home made Brownies, sparkling wine (therefore the drugs)... and we had the same huge fun as every year. Talking, checking out other people books, making the last stitches (not me, this year!) 
Und nachdem die letzten Stiche getan waren, brauchte es mal wieder zwei Frauen für einen Mann.
Ein Korsett war zu schnüren, nein, nicht nur für Frauen...
And after those last stitches were done, it took to women for one man...
They guy had to be laced into his corset... 
Und ist er nicht appetitlich im Ergebnis?

Na wenn wir nicht rocken, wer dann?
Und ab morgen in Stolberg!
